When did you fall in love with London?

I honestly think it’s genetic; I was born with the predisposition. By the time I was old enough to read the Paddington Bear books, I was already deeply convinced that London was far more exciting than anywhere I had ever been. And I don’t say this as a deliberate slur upon Kamloops.

Did you always know you wanted to be a writer?

I started out wanting to be an actor, except it turned out that I don’t have any talent. Admittedly this doesn’t stop everybody, but I could never get past it. So playwrighting seemed to be the logical fallback position.

Ali vs TysonWould Muhammad Ali have beaten Mike Tyson, had the two of them fought in their respective primes?

Resoundingly. Thank you for asking.

Is there any hope for your beloved Toronto Maple Leafs?

No. None at all. Ever.
