Quick interview in Seattle’s The Stranger

Who is that wonderfully handsome man gracing the front page of Seattle’s only newspaper The Stranger (online edition) ? Why, it’s me!

Book editor and swell fella Paul Constant has done a quick overview of the benefits of self-torture though the infamous 3 Day Novel Writing Contest. In the course of his research, we contacted each other, and he gave a brief email interview of yours truly on the history of my debut novel (and once-upon-a-time contest entry) Shelf Monkey.

Click here to read the interview in its entirety. And while this year’s contest has come and gone, it’s never too late to start preparing for the next one, i.e. stocking up on your supplies of Starbucks.

Corey Redekop is a man of many hats, most of which he shows to only the most discerning of haberdasher aficionados. His debut novel Shelf Monkey was released to much acclaim and not-negligible sales in 2007. His next novel, the great Canadian gay Mennonite zombie novel HUSK, has just been released to great acclaim. Seriously. Amazing acclaim.

    Cool!

Looking to the right of my screen I see many words have been written for Shelf Monkey 3!? Wait a minute, where do we get #2 ( and I don’t mean droppings)?

  2. Corey Redekop says:

Sorry, no to #2. I have completely given up on that one, and have moved on to #3.
